Zerocalcare's New Graphic Novel 'Quando muori resta a me' Out May 7
Bao Publishing announced the title and release date of Zerocalcare's new graphic novel, 'Quando muori resta a me,' set for May 7. The story, described as exceptionally beautiful, explores for the first time in depth the relationship with his father, depicted as a goose-like character resembling the father of Po in 'Kung Fu Panda.' This is Zerocalcare's first entirely new comic since 'No Sleep Till Shengal' (2022). The announcement comes months after controversy over his refusal to participate in Lucca Comics 2023. Zerocalcare, born Michele Rech in Rebibbia, gained fame through his blog, bestselling comics like 'La profezia dell'armadillo' and 'Kobane Calling,' the Netflix series 'Strappare lungo i bordi,' and the 2023 retrospective 'Dopo il botto' at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.
