Zeitz MOCAA and UWC Launch Fully Funded 2027 Museum Fellowship for Emerging African Art Professionals
Applications are now open for the 2027 Museum Fellowship Programme, hosted by the University of the Western Cape in collaboration with the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. Scheduled to take place from February 2027 to January 2028 in Cape Town, this initiative invites African citizens holding a bachelor's degree in art or related disciplines, along with 2-3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in English. The fellowship includes tuition, accommodation, a stipend, and health insurance, but travel and visa expenses are not covered. Only the first 100 applications will be reviewed, with results communicated by early August 2026. The deadline for submissions is 30 June 2026, requiring a motivation letter, CV, writing sample, academic transcripts, and references.
