Zazzaro Otto Explores Nomadism and Belonging at ArtNoble Milan

Zazzaro Otto (born 1988, Sassuolo) presents 'Traslochi Heimat s.r.l.' at ArtNoble gallery in Milan, a solo exhibition that juxtaposes the concepts of moving and home. The title combines 'Traslochi' (moving) with the German term 'Heimat', which evokes a sense of belonging and familiarity, creating an oxymoron. The show features oil paintings from the series 'Complimenti per il quadro', which reproduces a 1938 Disney short film where a house transforms into a trailer to escape an industrialized city. Sculptures dominate the space, including five bronze helmets on the floor and 'SuperPleasureEmergencySofa (Il mio braccio per un divano)', a sofa-bed on wheels symbolizing comfort and instability. Another work, 'I don't know how, but I'm taller, it must be something in the water', combines a makeshift motorcycle with military gear and a colorful camping tent. The exhibition runs at ArtNoble in Milan in 2023.
