Zaha Hadid Architects Opens ROMEO Roma Luxury Hotel Near Piazza del Popolo
Near Piazza del Popolo in Rome, the ROMEO Roma, a luxury hotel designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, has officially opened its doors. The project, which Zaha Hadid began before her passing in 2016, was finalized by Paola Cattarin and Ivan Russo. This hotel, situated within a 16th-century palazzo and surrounding structures, spans almost 10,000 square meters. Its architecture showcases a blend of historical features and modern design with overlapping folds. As the second property in the ROMEO Collection, following the Naples location, it aims to open a third hotel in Massa Lubrense by 2025. Guests can enjoy a restaurant by chef Alain Ducasse, a Sisley Paris spa, and a vast art collection, all enhanced by cutting-edge technology and bespoke furnishings.
