Yves Klein Foundation Launches CHF 6,000 Research Grant for Emerging Scholars
The Yves Klein Foundation has announced its first Research Grant, offering a CHF 6,000 stipend and a one-week residency in Paris for emerging researchers under 35. Open to PhD and postdoctoral holders in art history, aesthetics, or humanities, the grant supports original projects on Yves Klein's work and legacy. Applicants must be proficient in French or English and propose research requiring access to Klein-related archives. The jury includes art professionals and Foundation representatives, evaluating proposals on originality, scientific quality, feasibility, and archival relevance. The residency, scheduled for autumn 2026, covers travel and accommodation, provides a dedicated workspace, and includes scholarly guidance. Funding is paid in two instalments. Deadline: 15 June 2026; notification by 30 July 2026; public announcement on 10 September 2026. Applications require a research proposal, CV, and writing sample submitted via the Foundation's process. Enquiries: research@yvesklein.com.
