Yung Ma joins Hayward Gallery, Humberto Moro to Dia, and inaugural Gold Art Prize winners named

Yung Ma has been appointed as the curator for the Hayward Gallery in London. This follows his role as artistic director for the 11th Seoul Mediacity Biennale this year. Previously, he worked at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, where he oversaw the Contemporary Art and Prospective Creation Department, and served as associate curator of Moving Image at M+ in Hong Kong. He also co-curated the Hong Kong Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2009 and 2013. Additionally, in early 2022, Humberto Moro will step into the position of deputy director of program at Dia Art Foundation, moving from his positions at Museo Tamayo in Mexico City and SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah. Furthermore, the Gold Art Prize, launched by Kelly Huang and Gold House, has awarded $25,000 to artists like Jes Fan and Maia Ruth Lee, aimed at supporting Asian and Pacific Islander creatives through mentorship initiatives.
