YUARCHITECTS Renovates BIT International Education Center

The International Education Communication Center at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) has completed its renovations in 2025, with YUARCHITECTS overseeing the project. Originally established in 1999, this tall building serves as a hub for international students and visiting scholars, offering lodging, dining, and conference facilities, which are crucial for the university’s global exchange efforts. Covering 23,500 square meters, architect Dao Yu led the renovation alongside a talented team, including Liu Peiyi and Huang Xiongshen, who also acted as the site architect. Various partners contributed, such as Lighting Center for lighting design and Beijing Jian Da Jing Jing Da Fang for project management. The client and developer are both associated with the Beijing Institute of Technology.
