Yto Barrada Selected for French Pavilion at 61st Venice Biennale

Yto Barrada, an artist with roots in both France and Morocco, has been chosen to represent France at the upcoming 61st Venice Biennale, which is set for April through November 2026. Split between New York and Tangier, she co-founded the Cinémathèque de Tanger. Her artistic work delves into identity, history, and politics, often using narrative and archival techniques.
