Ytalia exhibition in Florence features 12 Italian artists including Jannis Kounellis
On June 2, Florence will launch YTALIA. Energia Pensiero Bellezza, a major exhibition showcasing modern Italian art. This event will feature the works of 12 notable artists, including Jannis Kounellis, Giovanni Anselmo, and Marco Bagnoli, among others. The exhibition is organized by MUS.E. and supported by the Comune di Firenze, with Sergio Risaliti as the artistic director. This follows previous successful solo shows of artists like Giuseppe Penone and Antony Gormley. In fact, Jan Fabre's 2016 exhibition at Forte di Belvedere attracted over 175,000 visitors, surpassing the 170,000 who attended Gormley in 2015. YTALIA will take place across prominent venues such as the Gallerie degli Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio, aiming to boost Florence's profile in the contemporary art world.
