Young Talent Architecture Award 2018 Winners Announced
The Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA) 2018, organized by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe in collaboration with Creative Europe, has revealed its four winners. Launched in 2016, this award is aimed at recent graduates from European institutions in Architecture, Urbanism, and Landscape, now extending to participants from China and South Korea. The winning designs, showcased at Palazzo Mora in Venice until November 25, exemplify a strong understanding of architecture's societal context. Each winner is awarded €5,000, a feature on World-Architects.com, USM furniture, and a diploma. Oya Atalay Franck commended the projects as highly promising. The winners are: Hendrik Brinkmann (Berlin University of the Arts), Julio Gotor Valcárcel (Polytechnic University of Madrid), Matthew Gregorowski (London Metropolitan University), and posthumously, Loed Stolte (Delft University of Technology).
