Yoshiharu Tsuge's seminal manga 'The Man Without Talent' (L'uomo senza talento) has been published in Italian by Canicola Edizioni, 30 years after its original serialization. The work originally appeared in Comic Baku magazine between 1985 and 1986, and is considered a masterpiece of modern manga, influencing cartoonists, artists, and filmmakers worldwide. The story follows Sukegawa Sukezo, a former successful mangaka who abandons his career due to lack of inspiration and skepticism about art's value, trying various odd jobs—ferryman, camera salesman, stone merchant—to support his family. The semi-autobiographical novel reflects Tsuge's own professional and emotional crises, including a suicide attempt in 1962. Published in 2017, the 224-page black-and-white paperback costs €19.
