Yanik Soland's First Institutional Solo Show at Kunsthaus Baselland

The Kunsthaus Baselland is featuring the inaugural solo exhibition of Yanik Soland, a Basel-based artist and musician born in 1990. This exhibition occupies the entire upper floor and all three galleries, unveiling a fresh immersive auditory experience called 'Walking on Rubber Eggshells.' Soland's diverse artistic approach, which integrates sound, sculpture, and performance, is highlighted through a composition that incorporates sustained tones, flute melodies, sub-bass frequencies, and percussion. The showcase delves into the ways sound can be displayed, perceived, or physically felt, reflecting his ongoing exploration of the connections between sound, material, and space.
