Xue Tan named chief curator of Haus der Kunst
Xue Tan, the founding senior curator at Tai Kwun Contemporary in Hong Kong since 2015, is set to take on the role of chief curator at Haus der Kunst in Munich. This transition follows Emma Enderby’s recent departure to KW Berlin in April. Tan has been instrumental in curating notable solo exhibits for various contemporary artists, as well as thematic group exhibitions focused on issues like gender and technology. Her influential work has reached prestigious institutions worldwide, including the Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt. Andrea Lissoni commended her expertise in Asian art. Tan’s new position officially begins in June 2024.
