Xolve Branding Reimagines Chateau Dalat Wine Packaging with Cultural Typography

architecture-design · 2026-05-10

Xolve Branding has redesigned the packaging for Chateau Dalat, Vietnam's most recognized wine brand, for Ladofoods. The project avoids simplification, instead translating cultural elements into a modern visual language. The Phúc Lộc Hoà Ca collection features three bottles—Shiraz, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon—each representing a different time of day in Dalat's landscape: Dawn, Sunset, and Twilight. The labels share rolling hills but shift in color temperature. Beyond the bottles, Xolve created a comprehensive collateral system including a Wine Handbook with a cobalt cover and geometric design, posters that mix script and blocky typography with folk-art flowers, a back-label system with a strict color grid, and a social content grid with wine aphorisms. The result is a cohesive identity that operates at multiple scales, from intimate collectible to shelf presence, targeting younger consumers without losing cultural soul.
