XIX Festival del cinema europeo a Lecce: programma e ospiti

From April 9 to 14, 2018, Lecce's Multisala Massimo will host the 19th edition of the European Film Festival. This event is organized by Art Promotion in partnership with the Apulia Film Commission Foundation and the Puglia Region, with backing from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Municipality of Lecce. The festival will kick off with the premiere of Nico Cirasola's "Rudy Valentino," which tells the story of Rodolfo Valentino's return to Castellaneta. British director Michael Winterbottom will be honored with the Ulivo d'Oro Award, dedicated to the late Cristina Soldano, a co-founder of the festival. Competing films include "Agape," "Cobain," "Scary Mother," and "The Party's Over," while the Puglia Show section features "Bazarov," "La giornata," and "Salent Movie." Student events will also be held, featuring talks and morning screenings.
