Würth Collection Exhibition Explores Op Art, Kinetic and Light Art at Art Forum Capena
A new exhibition has been launched at the Art Forum Würth Capena, showcasing 35 pieces from the Würth Collection, which dates from 1953 to 2012. This exhibition highlights three distinct 20th-century art movements: Op Art, Kinetic Art, and Light Art. Featured are works by 24 artists, including Alexander Calder, Lucio Fontana, and Niki de Saint Phalle. The engaging artworks utilize optical illusions, mechanical elements, and color variations to captivate audiences. This initiative reflects the Würth Group's dedication to art, which began in the 1970s with the acquisition of a watercolor by Emil Nolde. The collection is displayed across various locations, including Museum Würth, Kunsthalle Würth, and ten galleries throughout Europe. Reinhold Würth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, emphasized that art enhances the workplace environment.
