Wretched Flowers Opens SoHo Showroom During NYCxDesign

architecture-design · 2026-05-10

On Wednesday, Wretched Flowers, the creative partnership of Loney Abrams and Johnny Stanish, will unveil an experimental showroom in SoHo, Manhattan. After previously working from their home studio in New Fairfield, Connecticut, they aimed to find a venue for experimenting with new concepts and gathering immediate feedback. Located at 481 Broadway, 4th floor, the showroom will showcase fresh creations alongside their signature collection, which includes gemstone-beaded chain mail lighting, tapestries, tramp art-inspired mirrors, and sculptural domestic pieces. A standout feature is their largest chain mail tapestry yet, a diptych inspired by Raphael's Vatican works, currently exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The showroom will also highlight a selection of samples from Petra, an artistic hardware company, including a new collection by Wretched Flowers. An open house is scheduled for Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., after which visits will be by appointment only.
