WoQuanShanFang: Cave-Inspired Boutique Hotel in Henan by Yinyuan Studio

Yinyuan Studio has completed WoQuanShanFang, a boutique hotel in Gailouquan village, Shibanyan township, Linzhou city, Henan province, China. The project, with a total construction area of 1,395.2 square meters across four floors, houses 11 rooms. Designed by principal architect Wang Baozhen, the scheme is rooted in the topographical features of the Taihang mountain site, maximizing local conditions and adopting cave space as a central prototype. The design creates an integrated living environment balancing private retreats and immersive public circulation experiences. The schematic design was led by Duan Jingna, Kang Yuxin, and Wang Honggen, with architectural group members Zhang Jinhai and Zhang Jiajia. Structural design was by Wen Zhijie, electrical engineering by Sun Saijie, water supply and drainage by Fu Zhiyu, and HVAC by Yang Silong. Interior and landscape detailed design was by Kang Yuxin. The project is categorized as a hotel and was curated by Han Shuang. Photographs were taken by Yumeng Zhu. The project year is 2026.
