Wopart 2019 in Lugano Expands with New Sections and Collateral Shows
Wopart, an international fair dedicated to works on paper and established by Paolo Manazza, is set to return for its fourth edition from September 19 to 22, 2019, at Centro Esposizioni Lugano, covering an area of 7,000 square meters. The event will showcase 82 exhibitors, including notable Italian galleries such as Massimo De Carlo and Poggiali. It comprises four sections: Main Course, Emergent, Dialogues, and Project Space, the latter overseen by curator Marco Roberto Marelli. Additionally, seven collateral exhibitions will feature 'All'origine della carta' from Museo Egizio di Firenze, 'Luigi Pericle. L'alchimista pittore,' and 'Il Realismo visionario di Andrey Esionov.' A new area called 'Piazza della Cultura' will offer entertainment, workshops, and the 'Conversations' series discussing democracy, biodiversity, and the essence of paper.
