Woody De Othello Solo Exhibition 'coming forth by day' Opens at Manetti Shrem Museum
The Manetti Shrem Museum at UC Davis will unveil a solo exhibition titled "coming forth by day" by artist Woody De Othello on August 12. This showcase will feature an array of sculptures crafted from materials such as ceramic, wood, stone, and glass, accompanied by an original soundtrack and unique scents. A special bronze sculpture, created for the university, will also be highlighted. Curated by Jennifer Inacio and organized by Susie Kantor, the exhibition initially premiered at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. The related hardcover monograph includes essays and interviews by notable figures in the art community.
