Woody Allen's Café Society Opens Cannes 2016

Woody Allen's romantic comedy Café Society, set in 1930s Los Angeles, opens the 2016 Cannes Film Festival out of competition. The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Steve Carell, Parker Posey, and Blake Lively, with Oscar-winning cinematographer Vittorio Storaro. This marks Allen's 12th appearance at Cannes and his third opening film after Hollywood Ending (2002) and Midnight in Paris (2011).
