Woodrow Kernohan Appointed Director of John Hansard Gallery

Woodrow Kernohan, who serves as the director and CEO of EVA International, is set to take on the role of director at the John Hansard Gallery, located at the University of Southampton. He will manage the gallery's move to Studio 144, a £28.5m arts facility in the city center, anticipated to launch in 2017. Kernohan has a background that includes co-directing Brighton Photo Fringe and Permanent Gallery, as well as curating the Irish Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015, collaborating with artist Sean Lynch on the exhibit 'Adventure: Capital'. He will replace Professor Stephen Foster, who will retire after 30 years at the end of April 2017.
