WOLOLOW RETROCORE: Modular Space Age Lighting System

Design studio WOLOLOW has launched RETROCORE, a modular wall and ceiling lighting system inspired by Space Age and retro-futurist aesthetics. Developed by designers Arthur Koshatahyan and Kostya Trunov, the system comprises two panel variations: MONO (single aperture) and QUATRO (four apertures), each measuring 400 × 400 mm. The panels feature a screw-fixed base with a magnetic front cover for easy installation and are compatible with replaceable GU10 bulbs, including smart options. Available in white and four ready-made color finishes, the white version can be repainted post-installation. RETROCORE evolved from WOLOLOW's first crowdfunding campaign for a sculptural lamp inspired by mid-century futuristic visions. The system allows custom configurations from small accents to large architectural compositions, transforming lighting into a repeatable building block for interior architecture.
