Witte de With's Year-Long 'Morality' Program Debates Ethics Across Ten Acts

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Witte de With in Rotterdam has introduced 'Morality', a year-long initiative running from October 10 to September 26, which explores the concept of morality through various themes such as memory, knowledge, and belief. The first act, 'Beautiful from Every Point of View', showcases creations by Sarah Morris and Kris Martin. In Act II, 'From Love to Legal', artists Mark Raidpere, Joachim Koester, and Tobias Rehberger are featured. Act IV, 'I Could Live in Africa', focuses on the Polish post-punk movement. Erik van Lieshout is highlighted in Act V, 'Power Alone'. Act VI, 'Remember Humanity', presents works by Rosemarie Trockel, Lee Bul, and Ziad Antar. Act VII, 'Of Facts and Fables', includes contributions from Stan Douglas and Keren Cytter. Lastly, Act VIII, 'Nether Land', features Allan Sekula and Meshac Gaba. Additionally, the program encompasses a film series, performance events, a symposium, and urban interventions.
