Without Frontiers Festival Brings Urban Art to Mantua's Lunetta District
Right now, Mantua's Lunetta district is buzzing with the eighth edition of the Without Frontiers | Lunetta a Colori art festival. This year's theme, "Àncora – ancòra," cleverly plays with accents to explore the idea of balance, both found and lost. Curator Simona Gavioli has invited 12 artists to create interactive pieces, murals, and installations throughout the week, adding to past works from names like 4 Vene, BEG, and Zedz. There’s also a rich program linked to the Lunetta Cultural Camp, which is part of the Creative Living Lab IV initiative. Activities range from storytelling workshops to urban art sessions for all ages, promoting recycling and community ties. The festival will wrap up with a fun celebration featuring music and projections. Gavioli emphasized how the festival connects past and future, aiming to make Lunetta a creative hub for Mantua.
