Without Borders at Austrian Cultural Forum Bratislava
From March 5 to April 24, 2009, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Bratislava showcased an exhibit titled "Without Borders" to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Kultur Kontakt Austria (KKA). Founded in 1989 amid the collapse of the Iron Curtain, KKA aims to assist artists and cultural organizations across Eastern and Southeastern Europe. The exhibit highlighted works from six Slovak artists, each of whom had completed residencies in Vienna from 1993 to 2005. The pieces were grouped into two sections, showcasing the artistry of Dorota Sadovská, Marko Blažo, and Otis Laubert in one area, while video works by Lucia Nimcová, Anna Daunlikova, and Dušan Zahoranský occupied another.
