Winter Voyage Installation Transforms Versailles Gardens

From October 22, 2017, to January 7, 2018, the bosquets of the Château de Versailles hosted the Voyage d'Hiver installation. This contemporary intervention transformed the historic gardens of the palace, creating a winter journey through the landscape. The event was documented in the January 2018 issue of artpress, specifically on pages 27-28 of issue number 451. The installation offered visitors a seasonal experience within the formal gardens, recontextualizing the outdoor spaces of the royal estate during the colder months. The project engaged with the heritage site's environment, providing a temporary artistic intervention that coincided with the winter season.
