Winter 2018 exhibitions in Asia showcase On Kawara, Louise Bourgeois, Kochi-Muziris Biennale, and emerging artists.

Museum MACAN in Jakarta marks its inaugural anniversary with exhibitions from November 17 to March 10, showcasing artists such as On Kawara, Arahmaiani, and Lee Mingwei. Lee's installation 'Seven Stories' features 'Guernica Sand' (2006–), where volunteers replicate Picasso's iconic artwork. Arahmaiani displays over 70 pieces exploring the connection between humanity and nature, along with Javanese Muslim identity, including 'Etalase' (1994). On Kawara's 'One Million Years' (1970–98) will be presented in a sequential reading. In Singapore, 'Minimalism: Space. Light. Object' runs from November 16 to April 14, featuring more than 150 works. Meanwhile, Shanghai's Don Gallery is exhibiting 'Steadfastly Raise the Standards of Nonconstructive Production' until December 30. The Kochi-Muziris Biennale in India, curated by Anita Dube, is set for December 12 to March 29.
