Wim Wenders' 'Pina' streams for free on May 8 with live debate
On May 8 at 8:30 PM, the platform Mymovieslive will host a free live-streamed debate featuring dance and cinema experts, followed by Wim Wenders' film 'Pina'. The discussion will be led by Gaia Clotilde Chernetich, a dramaturg and dance scholar. Participants include Monique Veaute, President of the Fondazione Romaeuropa; Francesca Pennini, choreographer of CollettivO CineticO; and film critic Marzia Gandolfi. The film, created with Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, is Wenders' tribute to the visionary German choreographer Pina Bausch, who died in summer 2009. It follows the company's artists on stage and in Wuppertal, the city that was Bausch's home for 35 years. Viewers can register for free at mymovies.it/film/2011/pina/live.
