Willo Perron designs Pillo bed for Knoll, first new bed in 20 years

Knoll has introduced its first new bed in two decades, the 'Pillo' bed, designed by Willo Perron. The plush, upholstered frame blurs the line between bed and pillow, with a headboard functioning as a large cushion. Perron, named Wallpaper* Designer of the Year 2026, has an ongoing collaboration with Knoll that began in 2024 with the 'Pillo' sofa and now includes lounge chairs, modular seating, and pillows. The bed is customizable in upholstery color and designed to work within various contexts, according to Knoll creative director Jonathan Olivares. Perron emphasizes adaptability over uniformity, stating his pieces form a functional system that becomes unique through material, color, and context.
