Willem Dafoe stars as an art thief trapped in a luxury apartment in psychological thriller 'Inside'

Willem Dafoe plays an art thief who gets trapped inside a luxury penthouse after a heist in the new psychological thriller 'Inside', directed by Greek filmmaker Vasilis Katsoupis. The film explores the protagonist's struggle for survival and his intimate relationship with the artworks surrounding him, including pieces by Egon Schiele, Maurizio Cattelan, Adrian Paci, Francesco Clemente, and Maxwell Alexandre. The art selection was curated by Leonardo Bigazzi. Dafoe, a known contemporary art enthusiast and friend of artist Bob Wilson, has previously portrayed art-world figures in films like 'At Eternity's Gate' (Van Gogh) and 'Basquiat'. 'Inside' was released in the US on March 17, 2023, with no Italian release date announced yet.
