Who's art for? Convegno e saggio sulle condizioni delle lavoratrici dell'arte

On December 6, 2019, the conference titled "Who's art for? Art workers against exploitation" will take place at the Teatro del Castello di Rivoli, part of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rivoli, Turin. Organized by R-set / Tools for cultural workers and Rete al Femminile, this free event runs from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. It aims to discuss the working conditions in the art sector from a female perspective, tackling issues like exploitation, fair pay, sustainable economic models, and feminist management. Additionally, a book with the same title will be published by Postmedia Books featuring contributions from various authors. A crowdfunding campaign on Eppela (#whosartfor) raised €7,255, allocating 75% for the authors' compensation and 25% for the event's organization.
