White Gallery: Temporary Art Space with Manicure Station Opens in Rome During Art Fair

Curator Valentina Ciarallo has organized White Gallery, a temporary art space in a former warehouse overlooking the Tiber River in Rome, near the Gazometro and in the direction of the Fiera Roma Arte in Nuvola, which takes place during the same period. The project brings together 23 artists of different generations and backgrounds, including emerging talents like the duo VENERDISABATO (Luca Guarino and Sara Lomboni, born 2000), senior artist Sandro Sanna (Nuoro, 1943), mid-career artist Giuseppe Pulvirenti (Siracusa, 1956), and returnee Max Renkel (Munich, 1966). Many works are site-specific or new, such as paintings by Cécile Cornet (Namur, 1983, lives in Paris), a new series on molds by Giulio Bensasson (Rome, 1986), and new pieces by Marta Roberti (Brescia, 1977). Digital artist Chiara Passa (Rome, 1973) is exhibiting in a different context. First-time exhibitors include Eleonora Molignani (Milan, 1995), Greta Pllana (Albania, 1993), and Olivia Rainaldi (Rome). Other artists feature Myra Bonifazi (Rome), Alessandro Asciutto (Rome, 1988), Naomi Gilon (Brussels, 1996), Francesca Romana Pinzari (Perth, Australia, 1979), Alessandra Pasqua (Rome, 1975), and María Ángeles Vila Tortosa (Valencia, 1980). The space includes an actual manicure station in the main hall, intended to create a meeting point blending art with everyday life.
