White Cube New York Hosts Etel Adnan's First Posthumous Exhibition

'Etel Adnan: This Beautiful Light' is on display at White Cube New York, marking the first showcase of the artist's creations since her passing in 2021 and her inaugural solo exhibition in New York following a significant presentation at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum that same year. The exhibition includes works spanning the last twenty years of Adnan's artistic journey, featuring paintings, tapestries, leporellos, and a sizable ceramic wall mural measuring over 3 x 4 meters. Born in Beirut in 1925, Adnan was also a recognized writer and taught art philosophy at Dominican College in California from 1958 to 1972. The exhibition will be open from January 22 to March 1, 2025.
