Wesley Moon Transforms Manhattan Pied-à-Terre into Jewel Box Inspired by Sunset Views

Wesley Moon, a designer based in New York, reimagined a Manhattan apartment, drawing inspiration from the stunning sunset views visible from its high-floor windows. The client, originally from New York and owning properties in Texas, California, and Long Island, reached out to Moon after admiring his designs at the 2023 Kips Bay Decorator Show House. She acquired a 2,200-square-foot space and entrusted Moon with crafting a jewel box interior. Over eight months, he incorporated architectural elements while keeping renovations to a minimum. The versatile spaces include a guest room that doubles as an office and a dining area for bridge games. Notable pieces include a Barn in the City dining table and a sky mural by Calico Wallpaper. This project was highlighted in the Fall 2026 issue of Galerie Magazine.
