Wendy's Names Former Potbelly CEO Bob Wright as Permanent Chief Executive
Wendy's has named Robert Wright, the former chief operating officer, as its new permanent CEO. His appointment comes as the company seeks to address a decline in U.S. sales. Wright had been serving as interim CEO since March, following the resignation of Kirk Tanner, the previous CEO. Before joining Wendy's, he held the position of CEO at Potbelly from 2008 to 2020.
