Wendy Battleson Joins Bonhams US as Head of Business Development

Wendy Battleson has been named Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development for Bonhams in the United States, effective immediately. Operating from the auction house's New York location, she brings a wealth of expertise from the luxury asset and art finance industries. Previously, Battleson held the role of Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank, where she focused on business development and provided guidance on fine art, jewelry, and luxury collectibles. Her experience also encompasses significant leadership positions at Christie's, where she oversaw Art Finance and Art Transactions, facilitating major global deals and working closely with collectors and institutions. After her time at Christie's, she worked as Principal at Art Strategy Partners, advising various financial entities on collection management and acquisitions. In her role at Bonhams, she will spearhead business development initiatives throughout the U.S.
