exhibition · 2026-04-20

Wendelien van Oldenborgh will create new work for the Netherlands' presentation at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017. The Mondriaan Fund commissioned the Dutch artist and filmmaker for this project. Curator Lucy Cotter, previously co-director of Amsterdam's Public Space With a Roof, will organize the exhibition. Their concept examines how Dutch national identity was rebuilt during the 1950s and considers contemporary manifestations. Van Oldenborgh's experimental film From Left To Night (2015) remains on view at Wilfried Lentz Rotterdam through July 3, 2016.
