Weekend Art Highlights: Corbijn, Libeskind, Anadol, and More

Anton Corbijn's five-decade career is celebrated at Fotografiska Berlin with iconic portraits and personal favorites, running May 9 to September 20. The Jewish Museum Berlin marks the 25th anniversary of Daniel Libeskind's extension with 'Between the Lines' exhibition until November 1. Refik Anadol debuts 'Latent City' at Brusk in Bruges, a 10-meter AI-driven sculpture using historical and real-time data, until November 8. Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt hosts a 40th-anniversary weekend with free entry to Thomas Bayrle show and special events, through May 10. Dia Beacon presents Lee Ufan's Mono-ha sculptures and paintings from the 1970s-1990s, recently acquired by the Dia Art Foundation. The Metropolitan Museum of Art opens 'Costume Art' on May 10, juxtaposing 400 fashion objects with art across centuries, featuring mirrored mannequin heads by Samar Hejazi. The Venice Biennale, curated by the late Koyo Kouoh, opens to the public this weekend with the main exhibition 'In Minor Keys' executed by her chosen team. Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg's 'On Nervous Grounds' explores anxiety through works by Rebecca Horn, Cindy Sherman, and others, until September 27.
