Weekend Art Guide: Hantaï, Gertsch, Della Robbia and More
This week’s art scene features Simon Hantaï’s solo show 'Entfaltung der Farbe' at Museum Frieder Burda in Baden-Baden, which will be available until January 10, 2027. Kunstmuseum Bern is exhibiting 'Franz Gertsch. Blow-Up (Part I)' through January 17, 2027. On August 15, Biel's Kunsthaus Pasquart will unveil 'Summer Acts.' In Brande, Denmark, 'Deep Forest Art Land' will open 'Skulpturkirkegården,' showcasing over 20 pieces until August 15, 2027. Düsseldorf's Kunsthalle is hosting 'Urban Encounters' until August 16, while Emden's Kunsthalle will feature 'Große Buchstaben, grelle Farben' until February 28, 2027. Kunsthalle Gießen is displaying Mukenge/Schellhammer’s work until November 1. Hamburg's Kunstmeile will present 'Doomers' on August 15. The Metropolitan Museum of Art's 'Rediscovering Della Robbia' will run until January 17, 2028.
