Webb designs Terrain modular seating for Connection

Design studio Webb has created Terrain, a modular lounge seating system for UK-based furniture brand Connection, owned by Flokk. The system comprises four one-metre-wide modules that can be configured into various arrangements, from corner units to circular conversation pits or snaking islands. Made in the UK, Terrain uses an FSC-certified plywood frame and BioPur foam partly derived from renewable feedstock to reduce carbon emissions. Dual upholstery, contrast stitching in eight colours, and standard piping details are available. Webb described the design as bringing rhythm and flow, defining space in a softer manner while remaining compact and simple to specify.
