We Play, You Play: Interactive Architecture Exhibition at SpazioFMG

The interactive exhibition 'We Play, You Play' by Colombian architect Giancarlo Mazzanti and his firm El Equipo Mazzanti opened at SpazioFMG per l’Architettura in Milan during the first edition of Milano Arch Week, directed by Stefano Boeri. Curated by Mazzanti and Luca Molinari, the show transforms the gallery into a workshop with twenty tables where visitors can play with colorful geometric wooden toys inspired by Friedrich Fröbel's 18th-century educational games, which influenced Frank Lloyd Wright. The walls display diagrams, drawings, photographs, and videos documenting over one hundred buildings by the firm across the Americas and Europe, including projects in Bogotà, Cartagena, and Medellín. At the opening, the book 'El Equipo Mazzanti' from Moleskine's Inspiration and Process in Architecture series was launched, with curators Matteo Schubert and Francesca Serrazanetti, Mazzanti, and Molinari present. The exhibition emphasizes play as both a didactic tool and a source of design inspiration, engaging all ages.
