We Are Ona Brings Ephemeral Restaurant to Venice for Biennale Arte 2022

We Are Ona, a platform founded in 2019 by Luca Pronzato, launches its Ona Art Tour in Venice from April 16 to 23, 2022, coinciding with the Biennale Arte 2022. The pop-up restaurant is located in a historic palace in the Castello district overlooking Fondamente Nove, where Casanova once lived. Chef Thomas Coupeau, assisted by an Italian sous-chef, presents an eight-course menu reinterpreting Italian classics with local ingredients and a contemporary twist. Natural wines are selected by Pronzato and Lucy Rosedale. The tour continues in Milan during Salone del Mobile in June, then in Basel for Art Basel, and ends in July in Arles for Les Rencontres de la Photographie. Each stop features unique venues: a factory in Milan, a cistern in Basel, and old stables in Arles. Pronzato aims to create a community of gastronomic talents including chefs, sommeliers, designers, artists, and artisans, offering private dining experiences for fashion, design, and art clients during cultural events.
