Wayne McGregor's Infinite Bodies and On the Other Earth Redefine Dance Through Technology and Immersion

Choreographer Wayne McGregor presents two major installations that radically transform dance into immersive environments. The exhibition includes The Living Archive, a digital repository powered by the AI tool AISOMA, trained on McGregor's choreographic vocabulary. Collaborators include photographer Indigo Lewin, sound collective Invisible Mountain, and visual effects studio Random International. Works like OMNI merge choreography with digitally rendered environments, while kinetic light sculptures respond to human presence. Sound design for On the Other Earth was created by a collective behind Oscar-winning film scores. Somerset House marks its 25th anniversary by hosting this experimental showcase, which emphasizes participation over passive viewing.
