Waves: 7 Artists at Casa Sanlorenzo During Venice Biennale

exhibition · 2026-05-06

Casa Sanlorenzo, the art division of the yacht brand, inaugurated its new 1,000 sqm exhibition space in Venice with the group show 'Waves,' curated by Sergio Risaliti and Cristiano Seganfreddo. The exhibition runs until June 28, 2026, and features seven artists: Alexander Calder, Lucio Fontana, Fausto Melotti, Tony Cragg, Marcello Maloberti, Christine Safa, and Friedrich Andreoni. Spanning the 20th century to the present, the show explores the concept of waves through sculpture, sound, and painting. Highlights include Melotti's 'Clair de lune' (1973), marking 40 years since his death; Andreoni's immersive sound piece 'Giardino dell'Eden'; Maloberti's neon 'Echo' on the facade; and Calder's mobiles, commemorating 50 years since his death. The venue includes a 600 sqm garden overlooking the domes of Santa Maria della Salute by Baldassarre Longhena.
