Watt IV's M2x2: A 3D-Printed LEGO Brick Workstation Hides an Apple Mac Mini M4
Design studio Watt IV has created the M2x2, a 10:1 scale 3D-printed replica of the 1979 LEGO brick 3039p23 from the Classic Space sets. The workstation houses an Apple Mac Mini M4 and features a 7-inch IPS touchscreen running a Home Assistant dashboard that displays live sensor data via horizontal bars. The bone white PLA+ case echoes the original LEGO Space computer and the 1984 Apple Macintosh 128K. Functional studs on top include a media control knob and a wireless charger for Apple Watch or AirPods. The rear panel has fold-out wings for cable management and a recessed handle referencing the Macintosh 128K. A USB-C hub exposes Ethernet and USB ports at the front. Watt IV has shared build instructions for DIY replication.
