From September 26 to 29, 2024, the 14th Warsaw Gallery Week (WGW) took place, showcasing an unprecedented 42 galleries alongside an International Program featuring 50 participants from around the world. Joanna Vitek-Lipka, the director, emphasized the importance of fostering international connections within Warsaw's dynamic art landscape. Co-founder Jacek Sosnowski remarked on the increase in selected galleries, which grew from 14 to 37 since the event's inception. The Adam Mickiewicz Institute made its debut at this year's event. Highlights included exhibitions by Aneta Grzeszykowska at Raster gallery, rare pieces by Teresa Żarnower at Import Export, Piotr Uklański's 'Flowers of Evil' at Foksal Gallery Foundation, and Zbigniew Libera at Ewa Opałka Gallery. Additionally, the Crush Club offered a blend of art and a concept bar. The anticipated Museum of Modern Art is set to elevate Warsaw's status in Europe by 2025.
