Warhol's first NY studio and McQueen's Mayfair penthouse hit market for $10M each
Two iconic artist properties are now available for around $10 million each: Alexander McQueen's Mayfair penthouse in London and Andy Warhol's first New York studio on the Upper East Side. McQueen's penthouse underwent a 16-month renovation by interior designer Paul Davies, who preserved the dining room's portrait gallery and skull motifs in the mirrors. Warhol's studio, a former fire station over 500 square meters, is where he created his Death and Disaster series in the 1960s. According to the Observer, it may already have sold for $9.98 million. The property is located blocks from the Guggenheim Museum.
