Wannenes' auction 'Orologi da tasca e pendoleria' on May 19 in Milan achieved €360,339 total, exceeding estimates by 423% with over 90% of lots sold. A rare 18th-century double-face pocket watch by Kelhoff of Manheim (lot 191) sold for €75,150, far above its €10,000–15,000 estimate. Previously part of the Time Museum in Rockford, Illinois, the watch features five dials on one side and a lunar calendar on the other. Other top lots include a French 18k gold Salterello pocket watch (lot 190, €8,275), a Swiss Bautte et Cie enamel pocket watch (lot 22, €7,650), a Swiss striking pocket watch (lot 169, €7,025), and an Omega Kirby Beard & Co double-face chronometer (lot 177, €7,025).
