Acquired by Rosewood in 2013, the hotel underwent a meticulous restoration directed by architect Richard Martinet along with interior designers Aline d’Amman, Tristan Auer, and Chahan Minassian. The design harmoniously fuses original elements such as marble, carved stone, crystal chandeliers, and gilded mouldings with modern furnishings and a softer color scheme. The Grand Premier Suite is highly recommended, while Karl Lagerfeld’s Les Grands Appartements feature two Versailles-inspired apartments, including a two-tonne solid Carrara marble bath installed on ice. Dining options comprise Nonos by Paul Pairet and the Les Ambassadeurs Bar, known for its stunning painted ceiling.
